For as long as she can remember, she has been visiting places like this. She calls them "adventures". I've been photographing the Mississippi Delta region for a fair amount of time. And she and her brother have been with me the whole way. She loves abandoned places and takes great joy in them. Some children would be spooked by these surroundings.. some would be reckless... she is neither.
