An odd one

One of our party has slightly different sized feet. Bowling tonight at Center parcs you don't have the usual desk where you hand over your shoes and ask for a size, you are simply left to pick a pair yourself. I suppose it doesn't say anywhere you have to pick two of the same size shoe.
