Backblip

I was very surprised to fly from Edinburgh to Southampton yesterday in a Dash 8 like this one, as I can't remember how many years it's been since I've flown in a prop aircraft!

I did think we would be returning in one too, hence this photo at the airport as we waited for the flight home, but in fact we came back by jet. So much quieter and smoother and altogether a more pleasant flight:-)

I do have to say that both gave a lot more leg room than some of the more recent holiday flights we've been on, where we were packed in like cattle by very well-known travel companies. Never again!
