This is the Air Traffic Control Tower .......... at the now disused Wainfleet bombing range ........ I thought it looked rather resplendent with the sun shining on it ...... do hope you like it too :-)

We had a trip out there this afternoon. It is now incorporated into the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve & has lots of wading birds as it is on the Wash estuary.

It was a gorgeous afternoon ..... though decidedly chilly! We could see right across the Wash to Hunstanton in Norfolk which was bathed in sunshine. We didn't walk right out to the mudflats as it was extremely muddy ...... but watched the waders through binoculars. Bit 'wimpy' I know ...... but we will be going back there again once the weather warms up a bit :-)
