A concrete love affair

Field of Dreams

The late afternoon low sky sunshine falls gracefully on the Charnwood Forest Copt Oak landscape. Captured with a beautiful Canon 6D.

These radio towers at junction 22 of the M1 are the landmarks you can see from afar that say "I am home" The lefthand tower broadcasts BBC Radio Leicester on 104.9 FM which can be heard much further away, even in far away Aberdeenshire!

Very much appreciate the distant grace these lovely lighthouse-like structures provide, they are such beautiful harbingers of home and carry the city over vast distances. Yet for me sadly a home I really do wish I could cast free from and leave these towers, and all their little reminders, far far beyond radio range...

Fear that 104.9 is something Im destined never to escape...
