Retouching

Well this Blue Monday was definitely depressing regarding the weather, grey with a constant drip all day. So I worked on this old picture, which belongs to a friend of mine, it's his grandmother and the only picture he has of her, as the original is very dark, faded and full of spots and scratches he asked me if I could make a lighter cleaned-up version. A picture of the original one on the left and 2 retouched versions.
I'm not done yet, but this is what I've got today :-)
