The low sun cast long shadows from the copse behind me while the more distant trees were still lit up against a clear bright sky. I found it hard to get the right balance between foreground and background. Here is a colour version. Interested in feedback as to what you think is the stronger image.

If you are really interested this was taken further down Shalden Lane which I blipped last year and which was one of my personal favourites.
