City Life

This is the view from outside Leeds Art Gallery, looking down onto the Headrow.

I don't go into the city nearly as much as I used to, as life changes once you have children and especially if you are a working Mum. However, I love to soak up the energy of it all, once in a while, even though the fast pace of it can make me feel like I'm on the outside looking in these days!

Today, I was pleasantly surprised at how child friendly the city can be if you know where to go. We spent a great few hours in the Art Space for children at Leeds Art Gallery, painting, sticking and making plasticine models and it didn't cost a penny! My daughter said she had a wonderful time, so that will do for me.
