Black and White

Have watched this lemon-scented gum grow from a mere sapling.

Was trying to do justice to the beautiful smooth white trunk and the striking contrast to the background.

Then my unaccompanied canine "friend" appeared in my viewfinder.
( All dogs are supposed to be on a leash! )

He was NOT happy with my "suspicious" movements and my black Canon pointed at him and barked quite gutturally to register his disapproval.

Fortunately for me his dark demeanour and coat added that bit of mystery and elevated this image to blip status.

So my blip for today is.....

Black and White.
