Doha Days

This our driver, Shaijan. He is a real legend here. He turns out at all hours of the day and night to take people to and from the airport. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and for my first two weeks, before I got my own car, he was taking me to and from work every day. He came in to my office at dawn this morning to tell me that he had had an accident yesterday while travelling between our sites. It was not his fault and he had the certificate from the police to prove it! It was his first accident here in ten years. He is an excellent driver.
