Not the right way

To drain the steampipes from water during startup of the unit we have electrically driven valves. But: these are leaking a bit when they are closed so we shut the handvalves upstream in the drainpipe when the unit is on the grid.
This we do by turning the handwheel on each valve. But: bit by bit turning them is getting more and more difficult.
On this picture you see Anne standing on the electric valves outside the railing, opening a valve; in this way he can use the strength in the best way but it's not safe!
In this almost Blip you can see the right way but that doesn't work, or he has to use a wheelspanner.
Wheelspanners can destroy a valve so it's not the right way actually.

Now we try to persuade the management to have the platform and railing modified.
Costs a bit of money and it's safer.
