Michigan Architecture

Today’s Blip is about Michigan modern architecture. In Michigan, forms are as futuristic, unconventional, daring and artistic as the Shard.

like the Neue Zollhof in Düsseldorf, Michigan buildings employ unique uses of materials that almost defy all logic in how they work together - spaces that manipulate forms and surfaces. Buildings in the mitten state offer iconic geometric forms and unity with natural elements in their surroundings.

For example, this structure is more functional than the entrance to the Le Grand Louvre because there is room for a boat, a car and a tractor.
