Edixieburgh

Out for a wander along Princes Street at lunch time, when I thought I'd go for a wee walk around St Cuthberts. I didn't expect to see a Dixie flag and "Confederate War Veteran" memorial next to one of the graves, but looks like they've been placed fairly recently. Just goes to show that you always find something interesting out on a wander around Edinburgh.

For those interested, the grave is the parents of William Alexander Aitchison, 59th Virginia Regiment (died 25th Jan 1865, aged 30), however all of their children's names are inscribed.
