A Blast From The Past

And I thought this record was clean!
For those old enough to remember them, this is how music used to look.
Before downloads, before cassettes, we had black plastic discs. The music itself, mechanically scribed into the two walls of a V shaped groove as a series of peaks and troughs. This groove was then 'read' by means of a very fine tipped diamond; a stylus, which rode the groove.
They jumped, they were easily scratched, but you could handle them and the albums came with stunning artwork and sleeve notes.
Much more fun than a download - I think.
