Pre-storm stroll

The January thaw is over. It snowed Sunday and today the "arctic vortex" returned. And tomorrow - well, stop the presses - there will be a storm. A blizzard is expected to start at midnight, so batten down the hatches!

But today, although it was bitterly cold, was also sunny, and it looked so pretty outdoors that we couldn't resist a quick walk around the block with the dogs before the sun went down. And then I had pre-storm purchases to take care of: gas, milk, beer. Ready or not, here it comes. Stay safe everyone!
