Red sandstone

These layers of red sandstone are on the beach near Maryport Golf Club. In the distance you can see Allonby and Mawbray.

Our house, like many others around here, is built from red sandstone.

Two or three weeks ago, this area was battered by the storms and the tidal surge!

I have just seen that yesterday's Sunrise over Cockermouth got to Number 1 in The Spotlight! Woweeeeeeeeeeeeee!
