Celebrating life

little pink

Translucent,
Rosa's little pink tongue
Belies its roughness
When she curls up
For a lick
And a promise
Of contented purrs.

A few snatched minutes in the garden were supposed to provide a macro plant blip - I had a rotting tomato and a hydrangea bud. But Rosa proved too distracting, tearing around the sodden lawn and demanding my attention. She's 10 but tiny and very kitten-like at times.

I couldn't choose between this and Rosa up a tree , and I also liked Rosa up a tree inverted.
