White water on the Teith

The track towards Strathyre from Kilmahog is never far from the waters of the River Teith. Today there was a fair volume of water in the river , no doubt a potential flooding problem at Callander. The main feature of this stretch of the river is the Falls of Leny, which , though spectacular, are not easily reached. this shot is of the water as it tumbles from below Loch Lubnaig towards the falls.
The day was dull and wet and Callander was more or less bereft of tourists.
