zen stack

day 23 | the sun decided to come out to play today albeit only briefly...it was much appreciated.

knowing it was more than likely going to rain we made an early start...out by 9.30...we headed to tacking point lighthouse for some photos, it was beautiful... at the bottom of a long set of wooden stairs at the lighthouse was lighthouse beach (aptly named, don't you think)...we collected some pretty well sanded stones to create my zen stack, something i always admired in photos...as i was taking these photos the sun appeared on cue (maybe someone was watching).

after we headed to pick some strawberries at a farm...very delicious...also picked up some vine tomatoes too. on the way back we stopped at an oyster farm at the insistence of maddy who is a big fan...turned out to be a great decision as the oysters were the best i've ever tasted...creamy and juicy plus no fishy taste at all...usually i would stop at a few but i could've finished a dozen or more.

we headed back after lunch and the heavy rain arrived shortly after.
