Absent Voices Project in Progress

This is another sketch that I'm working on for the Absent Voices Project.
This figure composition in set within the Greenock Sugar Sheds.
It shows the spirits of those who worked within the huge structures.
For generations , families worked there, passing down their skills and experiences.Couples fell in love, married, had children and those children did the same.
They worked together and for eachother.
While they worked, in very difficult conditions, angels of their ancestors watched over them.....guardian angels, maybe.
Those angels still whisper within the emptiness of the sheds today.
