Portrait of my friend for my latest brief.
I really love drawing with charcoal and a rubber it's very expressive and the marks you can produce from it are lovely. It's great for contrasted images.
I learned this technique of drawing in life drawing lessons I take on Mondays, it makes you think about tone more rather than line, I love it.
