Mother & daughter enterprise

In Rwanda it's the 'little' rain season just now - which means that it can rain very heavily but for short periods. During this afternoon's downpour we took refuge in a tiny shop run by a mother and daughter. The four square meters was packed from floor to ceiling with jewellery (made by the daughter) baskets, fabrics and carvings.

Needless to say, some of the necklaces came home with me......
