Sweet Galloway Landscape

This is the backdrop to the route I walk, several times a week. It's just along the road.

I realised today just how many times I'd walked this loop, a couple of times a week at least, for more than three years. I know it achingly well. I've walked it in every season.

Even so, sometimes you need to stop and imagine you were seeing it for the first time, or the last time, to see what it's really like, to notice how lovely, to remember the curves of the hill.
