Hopeful

The wonderful thing about gardening on a farm is that you always have company. There's the cat... she'll be within a radius of three metres, a cow or two (head over the fence, ever-curious, willing to sample whatever you're offering), and then the keenest gardener of them all, Hope, who has to be asked to keep a polite distance at times.
