All Aboard!

The Caledonian Sleeper from London Euston to Edinburgh. 2350 so just within the day :) It's always fun to take this old-fashioned and unhurried service with the buffet car and little sleeper berths. I sleep very well, rocking about as the train carries me the length of the country - I just wish it took longer so I could sleep more!

This was after a "farewell" evening for a colleague off to pastures new and the cycle to Euston. My bike developed a fault so the chain was skipping (turns out to be a bent tooth on a cog - never had that before!) but I made it with time for a few photos.

Edinburgh in the morning and looking forward to a weekend with the children and a week in my own bed!
