January Challenge - Bubbling

Day 22 of DDW's January daily challenge - Bubbling

A gentle start to the day, which was welcome having spent a fair bit of the night coughing. The journey into work was surprisingly quick, however, the day didn't finish as well as expected.

My 30 minute slot to do the work this evening was cut back to 25 minutes, and despite all the change control procedures in place, the client had failed to spot or tell us that they had reduced the time-slot. As a result we didn't complete the work, but did manage to get clear with a whole 15 seconds to spare. If we hadn't, then there was a good chance of having made the front pages (especially of the more Tory-minded press) and even a few questions in parliament, as I could have taken the Conservative Party Political Broadcast off air with a very simple slip up. So a follow-up late finish in the next week or two will be needed to complete the work.

No champagne on offer then (and my medications stop me from drinking alcohol) so the best bubbles I could find were in the washing up liquid, current fragrance - lemon.

Just catching up with blipping as it's been a week of get home, eat go to bed.

Day 20 - Dirty

Day 21 - Cracked
