Don't-Tell-The-Bride Night

Tonight saw the broadcast on RTÉ television of the first-ever civil partnership episode of the Irish version of Don't Tell The Bride. Your very own Dublin Shooter was involved, since one of the lads is a long-term friend of mine.

The lads organised a party tonight in the same hotel venue where the ceremony and reception took place, and a good crowd turned up to watch the broadcast. It was a great night, and the programme was really good: really funny in places, and generally excellent TV. As with all nights like this, food and drink was available, the night went on longer than anyone expected, and several problems, both national and personal, were solved by the end of the night. Carl and I booked in to an adjacent hotel so didn't have any concerns about drinking/driving or having to get a taxi.

I set the X100 in its favourite 'sneak' mode and got a decent crop of photos to mark the night. This crowd were near where we were sitting, and cooperated right readily when I asked them to be silly.
