Tasty food at Wareham market

There is no haggis for sale at Wareham market, but it can be found elsewhere in the town. Today is Burns Night, time to tune in to the bagpipes and devour the neeps.

Food photography is a speciality, and I find that fish and seafood are the only food items which can look good in a photo without elaborate preparation and scene-setting. It's difficult to beat a decent swordfish - or sawfish - head, but you have to travel a long way south from here for the privilege.

Here the less dramatic "Tasty" stall is still being set up; its proprietor is running a little late, as her entire stock of (home-made) bread was snapped up on her arrival...

... not by the local gulls, the local gannets were at fault.
