Two birthday cakes??

A fun family day today. Dreadful weather all day but no matter. The entire family came for Janet's 65th birthday. It was a wonderful day. Only shots possible were quick family snaps. I had plans to use the new tripod and take some good shots in the garden but they came to nothing for I haven't yet managed to get the elements under control. The round birthday cake was bought for Janet, but Lucas, who has just turned 6 and came with me yesterday to buy it, stood in a thoughtful pose in the supermarket and said that although he thought that Granny would like it, he would very much prefer the chocolate one. What can you do? Eat a bit of both!
