Lunch

Another cold, gray day here in Wilmington. So, I turned to the kitchen for entertainment . I started by preparing a vegetarian pot-pie for dinner, 9 different veggie all cooked together with a flakey crust on top! Already to be popped in the oven for dinner.
This photo shows my next creation, zucchini sliders with mozzarella on top of a green salad (leaf lettuce, spinach, arugula, and green pepper) topped with rice and tomato sauce. It was actually an effort in cleaning out the refrigerator, but it turned out to be delicious! Surprise!
I also have a chocolate cake in the slow cooker, a new recipe I wanted to try.
Oh my! It better warm up soon or I won't be able to fit in my clothes!!!!
