The rabbit and the bear

Sam's birthday party today at Jitterbugs and Dylan wanted to wear his Jack Sparrow costume so it's been another day of pirate role play. He was totally made up with his party bag as it contained not only cake and sweets but an eye patch, telescope, treasure map and gold dubloon - perfect! Next time he goes to a party, he tells me he will wear his knight outfit for a change... we shall see!

Went out for a late lunch with Mum where Lily charged about like a giddy kipper, wanting to be chased and tickled <3 Her laugh cracks me up, she has such an infectious giggle. Diddy has been practicing writing his name and is getting pretty good at it now. He has also taken to drawing Olaf the Snowman. Aside from the fact he's insistant that snowmen have legs (and usually more than 2 arms), they're definitely recognisable.

The children went to bed tonight wearing the onsies they got for Christmas. Talk about snuggly! Dylan was loving being a bear and lily was just rather bemused by having a hood with ears and feet she couldn't pull off. If you look carefully, you might even spot a surviving bendyman in this pic! He's done well... only one arm missing.....
