The Koru

It is such a simple design but Air New Zealand's koru is unmistakable, even in Vancouver's seemingly constant fog. It is also a nice reminder you are nearly home.

It emerged out of the window as we spent the last couple of hours having a bite to eat and a chill before the flight home. There were a few walking wounded heading home but I think I got the prize for the most dramatic looking. Have to admit though, the golf cart ride from check-in almost to the lounge wasn't a bad perk of the job.
