Monopoly maiden voyage

Introduced my kids to the glory of Monopoly tonight. It was my favorite game growing up, and I still love it. So many great memories, and now I get to add on to the collection with my kids. Sure, you've gotta prepare yourself for the long haul whenever you sit down to play, but that's part of the fun.

My seven-year-old son gave me a run for my (fake) money, on the strength of his hotels on the green properties, but he couldn't quite hang on.

Maybe I should have let him or my daughter win, but that old Parker Brothers tycoon in me just wouldn't allow it. I'm sure my day of reckoning will come soon enough.
