The garden in January

This afternoon the sun showed its face for a little while.
I nipped outside to see what the onslaught of winter has done so far, and found a few little treasures.
The last rose of winter, the first snowdrops of spring, the resilient winter jasmine, and a pup enjoying the sunshine.
Then I nipped back indoors again as the next winter shower arrived.
