Adventures in Abendbrot

We're used to having a hot dinner, but here in Germany it's quite normal to have open sandwiches for dinner. So called 'Abendbrot' - evening bread. We've been trying to be a bit more adventurous than just good old ham and cheese. Here we have corned beef, sauerkraut, pear and Limburger cheese!
