Brrrr!

I wasn't expecting this today! Must have missed the memo predicting snow, so this morning was a bit of a shock. Unfortunately it wasn't lovely fluffy crisp snow. Instead, it had decided to dispense with the actual lying around on the ground before becoming slush and was just falling as slush. Nasty.

Still, there are a few things in the garden that regard this as perfect weather and this spring snowflake is one of them, even with its icy cap.
