Stopped by a plumbers merchants this morning to get a new thermostat for the heating. £150 later...!

Took mum out to Guildford for the day. Had coffee, did some shopping and then had lunch in Jamie's Italian. First time I've been to one and I was quite impressed. I had a burger and polenta chips, which were amazing - worth it just for those.
Some more shopping (including wool and needles for mum) then a drive home in a sudden squawl. Really windy and chucking it down. A few branches down on the roads.

Then an evening with the feet up watching Peaky Blinders, a BBC drama that was really very good. A second series in the offing so one to keep an eye out for.
