A Difficult Sunrise

Another in a string of frigid, icy mornings that nudged me into leaving a little earlier for work. My wife accompanied me so that she didn't have to drive later.

I grabbed this shot as we drove out of our neighborhood. There was something about the difficult sunrise that caught my attention. I think it reflected that feeling we have when we wake and know right away that it's going to be a hard day to shine.

The service was especially vibrant, not sure why, but I was pleased. Much later this afternoon I had my smile moment when a congregant shared how much I mean to her worship experience. That she can feel the spirit working through me.

Laying low tonight, can't wait for tomorrow!
