Stupid Fish

Not the fish was stupid this time, but me. Last week we connected two long lines with artificial baitfish trailing behind our ship. Not a single fish responded. At least, that was what we thought. Tomorrow we are releasing the Husky and this afternoon we took in our lines. It appeared that one small baitfish is gone completely and from the bigger one I forgot to take of the protection sleeve from the hook. The fish was very willing to bite, as you can see on the picture. The baitfish lost his tail and was damaged severly.
Next week we are gonna give it another try, this time without protection.
