Swing that incense!

Throughout Absent Voices I will be exploring some of the decorative stained glass that remains as legacy of the wealth that many sugar merchants enjoyed in their private lives .
In inverclyde there are many grand houses still standing which were once owned by prominent barons,and most are highly decorated with beautiful glass work.
I will be undertaking classes in traditional glass painting where participants will get the chance to explore ideas of their own and perhaps emulate some of the colours and painted detail from those windows.
This little panel is a restored piece Ive just finished ,which was brought to me in bits having been salvaged from a derelict building.
