Found at the Floating Market

You couldn't sell much fruit out of this boat. Actually, at the floating market near my house, mostly noodle soup is sold from the boats. Fruit and vegetables are sold on the tables along the path.

The market has a great atmosphere. It's mostly frequented by Thais, although there is usually a light speckling of foreigners. Tasty food is abundant along with reasonably priced souvenirs and lots of random items. My roommate (who is from Texas) found a tiny espresso mug with "Texas" engraved on the outside. For 10 baht, about .30 cents US, she bought it for her shelf.
