RX

Two little letters but in the world of CrossFit they are a pretty big deal. For those not used to this terminology it comes from the States and means 'as prescribed'. You'll see it on notes from doctors (take 2 tablets per day RX).

In CrossFit this means you completed the final part of the workout at the top level, as prescribed by your coach and nothing was scaled. Not only did I do it but I did it with double unders, something that used to be my nemesis just a few months back. Such a buzz afterwards. Bring on the next WOD

From Wiki...
This symbol originated in medieval manuscripts as an abbreviation of the Late Latin verb recipe, the imperative form of recipere, "to take" or "take thus". Literally, the Latin word recipe means simply "Take...." and medieval prescriptions invariably began with the command to "take" certain materials and compound them in specified ways.Today, when a medical practitioner writes a prescription beginning with "℞", he or she is completing the command.
