Woohoo - Spring has sprung

Nearly missed this - when H came in from school, she said 'is that a crocus Mum?' - lying on the grass the remains of a lilac crocus, probably pecked by Mr Blackbird - but next to it was this crocus, waiting to open - surely Spring isn't far away now.
