Across Kinghorn Loch

It was dull, murky and spotting with rain this afternoon when I visited Kinghorn Loch.
One again, the water rail showed up opposite the bird hide but as usual, too dull to use an adequate shutter speed.

Before I left, I took a couple of distant views across the loch towards what appeared to be a slightly brighter area of sky. The seagull conveniently flew into the second frame that I shot.

Once home, I worked hard to make the most of that bright area behind the trees and this is the result.

Yesterday's image was probably too abstract for most of your tastes, but this should appeal more to pictorial landscape lovers. I hope so anyway.
