Looking down the barrel

I've lived in Edinburgh for 16 years but for one reason or another have never visited the Castle. I finally broke my duck today and had a great time there with Daisy. I liked this view of the skyline from one of the many cannons spread along the ramparts and wondered what the city below looked like when the guns were still in action.
