Happy birthday

Chef is another year wiser and I thought I'd give him a night off from slaving over a hot stove.

He hasn't done too badly since I jumped out if bed early to make a three course breakfast, rushed home from work to make a surprise afternoon tea and then arranged the sitters so I could take him out for dinner.

Apparently all that eating on an otherwise cold, miserable Monday in January was thirsty work!
