Down to the last bottle

This year's vintage is very tasty; it's just that I didn't have a lot of damsons. There has been a lot of demand for it.This bottle is going to have be made into 2 smaller bottles for presents (I haven't been drinking it; the glass is just a prop. I don't drink alcohol now - it tastes funny)..
Recipe for sloe/damson gin
Sept/Oct Pick fruit, wash and dry and spread on trays. Leave in freezer until you remember (a couple of weeks). This saves you pricking with a fork etc.
Half fill kilner jars with the fruit, bung in a good measure of sugar and fill to the top with gin. Shake daily for the first week or so and then forget until Christmas.
Decant into bottles and enjoy!
