Morning push ups

It looked like this little fellow was doing push ups today on the patio table! Only a couple of squirrels in the yard but lots of starlings and doves until the Cooper's Hawk scared them away. The hawk flew over the field in front of the house and dived after I think one of the birds and landed hard in the snow. I went out to see if he had caught anything but he shook off the snow and flew away with empty talons. Guess he missed whatever he was after.
