Diversion

I was asked to give a poetry reading for the newly launched Howth Literary Festival. The coastal walk to the venue, Howth golf Club, (from Sutton DART station) was one of the highlights: both balmy and very blustery, with stone-grey clouds tearing over the Persian blue mountains; in a word, bracing.
