Style over substance

Took my car in for a (overdue by 13000 miles) service (Yes, thirteen thousand miles overdue - such is the ignominy of being a pool car). They gave me this tart's window box to drive. I don't know if John Cooper is still alive but if he is I wouldn't be surprised if he was going around the country systematically tearing his name off the back of these pretentious little receptacles.
My only Mini was also guilty of having style over substance - though, to be fair, it had little of either.
